Browsers require updates to maintain and improve performance and functionality often. Below are instructions for various web browsers
Chrome
If you are using Chrome that requires an update, you may see an "Update" link in the top right near the Settings Menu. You can update Chrome by selecting this link and following the instructions. Or visit Chrome Download to install or update Chrome.
Firefox
By default, Firefox will update automatically. To ensure you are on the latest update of the browser, visit this link and follow the instructions: Firefox Updates
Safari
Safari browser will update with any macOS updates. Visit this link to see instructions on how to update your macOS: Update macOS on Mac
Apple no longer offers Safari updates for Windows.
Edge
By default, Microsoft Edge downloads and updates automatically. To manually check for an update in Edge, click the menu button in the top-right corner of the Edge browser window. It looks like three horizontal dots. Scroll over “Help & Feedback” and click “About Microsoft Edge.” This will take you to the Edge settings page where you can see the version and update if necessary.
